Interacting with Prayas Juvenile Aid Center students on the need of renewables; in the backdrop of climate change
Feburary 15, 2020
SUN Foundation Amabssador’s team has visited Prayas Juvenile Aid Center (JAC) on Feb 15th to conduct an onsite solar clinic with the students of Prayas. Prayas is a credible organization working for juvenile students who have faced social disabilities on account of their birth, natural disaster. It’s a registered voluntary organization and working on integrated self sustainable and community based model since 1988.
SF through its technology enabled platform assisted Prayas’s students with learning about the positive effects of solar energy, living a sustainable life and also equips them with the tools which help them inspire others and facilitate the adoption of solar rooftop solutions in their campus.
More than 50 students and 5 teachers took this session.
“Students took the pledge to live sustainably.”
As bringing a network of SF Ambassador is critical to the objectives of SF, the solar clinic also helped us in identifying the ambassadors who share the common vision of the founder and are excited to play their role in taking the message forward.
